Version 2026-08-18. This covers the data your newsroom is built on. It sits alongside the Terms of Service, the Truth Foundry Terms, and the Content License.
Your newsroom writes news from a record of facts that DRM3 builds and maintains. This agreement says what that record is, which part of it is DRM3's to license, and what you may do with it.
DRM3 Labs Corp, a Delaware corporation, grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to read the fact record through Newsroom Floor and to write and publish news from it. Three parts of the record are DRM3's to license:
Inside your Newsroom Floor newsroom you may search the record, cite facts, and write and publish news from them, on your Newsroom Floor address and your own channels under the Content License. The news your newsroom produces is yours under that license.
Open-data sources are listed with their licenses in a public register: the DRM3 data-license registry. News sources are the feeds publishers syndicate, read as described in How the news is sourced; DRM3 credits and links back to every source and honors every opt-out. First-party facts are DRM3's own measurements of public networks and public records.
By signing, you acknowledge that DRM3 Labs holds the rights it licenses to you here: its first-party facts, its derived facts and synthesis, and its provenance. You acknowledge that the record is built from facts and cross-source synthesis, not from republished articles, and that a signature proves who filed a fact and that it has not changed, never that a fact is true.
