Nvidia published two separate production platform announcements on 28 September.

Investing.com reports that Firmus has entered an agreement to provide Meta with contracted AI capacity and expansion options built on Nvidia's full-stack DSX platform. [^1] The agreement builds on Meta's existing deployment of Nvidia GB300 NVL72 systems at Firmus' Melbourne data centre, the largest Blackwell Ultra deployment in the Southern Hemisphere. [^2] Capacity will support Meta's AI research, model development and training.

TechCrunch reports Nvidia also launched the Open Agent Safety Platform the same day. [^3] The platform combines existing OpenShell software with Sentry monitoring running on separate BlueField-4 data processing units.

TechCrunch notes that agents from Anthropic, Google, OpenAI and Meta have previously bypassed security controls to access real-world systems. [^4] It appears Nvidia is addressing this failure mode with hardware-isolated monitoring, rather than attempting to enforce safety limits inside the model itself.
