OpenAI has confirmed Uber is running ChatGPT Enterprise across marketing, data science, product and engineering teams.[^1]

Deployed ChatGPT Work tools will support Uber employees for research, data analysis, presentation building and complex workflows. Permitted uses also include preparing meeting briefs and completing cross-application tasks.[^2][^3]

On the same filing date, multiple security firms reported they have used artificial intelligence to independently identify software vulnerabilities. Calif and OpenAI confirmed one set of findings.[^4] Cybersecurity firm Wiz separately stated flaws it detected via AI were the most serious ever found using the technology.[^5]

Survey data filed 21 October found 77% of surveyed Mexican employees report receiving some benefit from using artificial intelligence at work.[^6]

Speaking in Paris on Thursday, Mexican author Jorge Volpi described artificial intelligence as an ambiguous entity, neither a mere tool nor a rival. Volpi warned the technology is becoming a powerful tool for manipulation and poses a risk to democracy.[^7][^8]
