Eight domains switched their DNS to magpiedns.com on Nov. 3, 2026, DomainDrift data shows - four departing kirklanddc.com, three leaving koaladns.com, and one moving from brainydns.com.[^1]

The kirklanddc.com departures were btchina.net, vihuxi.xyz, comprousa.com, and mp3quack.lol.[^2] The three that left koaladns.com were f-15e.info, mobillegends.net, and baixarseriesmp4.club.[^3] 5flix.net made the lone move from brainydns.com.[^4]

What stands out arithmetically is the spread of origin providers: by this paper's arithmetic, 50% of the eight domains came from kirklanddc.com, 37.5% from koaladns.com, and 12.5% from brainydns.com - a single destination absorbing traffic from three distinct sources in one day. The domains themselves span a range of TLDs:.net,.xyz,.info,.com,.lol,.club. None of that tells you why the moves happened, only that they happened together and to the same place.

The next thing to watch is whether magpiedns.com continues to accumulate at this rate in the days following Nov. 3.
